| Perhaps the most classic of concert posters of all time and certainly the sweet spot of the entire 1950's. What a line-up, Buddy Holly, The Crickets, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, The Diamonds doing "The Stroll" , The Chantells, Frankie Lymon, Screamn Jay Hawkins and others!! The only multi-show act poster that compares to this one is the 1957 Show of Stars poster, both done by different poster manufacturers, this one by Murray Posters of New York and the 1957 Show of Stars being done by Globe Poster of Baltimore. What a classic 1950's art deco feel poster! - reminds me of a poster you would see at Radio City Music Hall in the show window during the 1950's. |
